September is the Seattle Design Festival
September 1, 2014
Thursday the 11th, we will be hosting an Inter-block Party with our neighbors in our courtyard from 6pm on. Chophouse Row “bites” from our neighboring restaurants will be available with proceeds being donated to the festival.
The 11+P Inter-Block Party will take place at the near-complete Chophouse Row project on Capitol Hill. This project is the final piece of a larger master plan in the Pike-Pine Corridor that supports an incremental urbanism rather than a large-scale monoculture. Chophouse Row provides the unique opportunity of movement through the block, establishing a public pedestrian corridor between 11th and 12th and from all adjacent businesses, into an enlarged, inter-block courtyard.
As part of the Seattle Design Festival this fall, join Sundberg Kennedy Ly-Au Young Architects and neighbors for a “sneak peek” tour! Learn about the future of the 11th and Pike block, its integration with the Capitol Hill neighborhood, and the important role of mixed-use developments within urban communities while enjoying food and drink from the block!
