Olympic High School receives AIA WA Civic Design Award
Olympic High School was presented with a Citation Award at last Thursday’s AIA|WA’s Civic Design Awards. The Awards celebrate design excellence in publicly funded projects located in Washington and showcase projects with the highest standards in sustainability, innovation, building performance and overall integration with the client and surrounding communities.
Central Kitsap School District hired SKL to give OHS a new 96,000 SF centerpiece, which includes a prominent new Entry, Classrooms, Technical Labs, and a 450 seat performing arts Theatre. Central to the scheme is a two story light‐filled Commons where students and faculty can congregate, meet, eat, and interact.
