We braved the wind and the rain to attend the Westside School Ribbon cutting ceremony. It looks like the building is a hit with students, faculty and staff. Have a great year in your new home Westside Wolves!

Original church nave will be re-used to house two levels of classrooms and a new level will be added for the auditorium. The existing glulam arches resembles the structure of a boat or perhaps an animal skeleton.
Starting with a wonderful speech by Gladys, the students of Westside eagerly cheered as the the golden shovel was passed forward. Students roared with excitement and delight as they imagined their future space. The ceremony has held in the existing church nave, whose volume will be split into classrooms and an auditorium.
